The Search Index module allows search engines to index protected content. All content that is made available for that Membership is always visible to search engine crawlers.
When the module is enabled, an additional option becomes available—First Click Free. This option allows all content that is available for Search engines, will also available for all visitors that directly arrive from a search engine. Please see “First Click Free” policy documentation to learn more.
Supported Search Engines: Google, Yahoo, and Bing
Furthermore, when a page is added to a membership, you also have the option to add it to the “Search Index” membership. Doing so makes the page accessible to search engine crawlers, allowing it to appear in search results.
